    1965 delco shocks - removal

Hello to all. I currently have GM, over the counter F41 shocks on my 65' 365hp at the rear end. These were installed back in 1981, when the car was restored. I will be replacing them with correct, standard OEM Delco type shocks. My question is with regards to the removal of, and reinstallation of the rear shocks. My car is on a drive on ramp 'BABCO' lift in my garage. Can I remove the shocks from under the car, without having to remove the wheels? Thank you in advance. David Kalaydjian

    Dave,
yes, tight up top but you can if the hardware is clean and if you can unbolt with box wrenches without the use of an impact since that will not fit. But why not jack it up on lift and take off tire, a lot easier!
