1965 or 1966 BB radiator cap
can anyone post a picture of a known original one. or can you tell me if this cap is one. or from anther passenger car. if it is indeed real is it worth having it restored and what is the value of the cap

Keith, the cap that Matt has is the correct one for a 66/67 BB. 65 BBs used an aluminum radiator thus it used a different cap.Comment

Keith - The AC RC-15 radiator pressure cap was used by GM since the mid-to late 50s on passenger cars equipped with factory AC & then in the mid 60s & on up into the 70s for cars with
AC & applications that required the higher psi rated radiator pressure cap. The one in your photo is typical of the versions used in the 60s up thru 1965 but not on Corvettes as noted. The configuration of the stampings on the top of the cover was changed and introduced with 1966 GM production and the cap as Matt posted with the AC and the 15# & RC-15 stamping in the circles and also note is the enclosed configuration of the head of the arrow stampings because the version used in 1966 thru into the 70s.
