I am getting water on the inside of my lower door panel carpet an the carpet on the frame rails. I put new weather stripping on the doors. When ever I wash the car these two places get soaked. Could it be coming from other seals like the A pillar weatherstripping and running down into the carpet? I have not replaced any of the weather stripping. Any way it could be the door itself?

Re: water leak
Lyndon, water leaks can be a PIA , my advice is sit in the car with a good flash light and have someone use a water hose around the door and look closely to see if you can see where its starting from. Keep the water in just the door area first, then if there is no leak head to the piller post area next with the water.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: water leak
yes if not sealed to the door and covering all holes they will leak . With the interior door trim off spray the door panel with water . At work we installed a shower head on a 8 foot water pipe on wheels that was our rain . GMs warranty said the car should not leak in rain conditions . Hard spray or car washes were not included .- Top
