Hello to all; I am changing the rocker panels on my 65 roadster. The build date is November 13, 1964. Would anyone know if the lower rocker molding screws/bolts are supposed to be black or zinc finish ? It seems the color changed during this production time period (63 and 64 were zinc, as well as early 65's). Thanks in advance

Well a March 1964 car has BLACK screws, so it would appear the black came into the factory during the 64 production run. Understand a print exists calling for the black finish (I do not have, would like). Looking at various photo's from Noland's book I have seen a mix in the 1964 shown, but remember the date of the book, if photo is not referenced it may be an early restoration.
