You won't get the t-reverse lockout off. The housing surrounding the lockout rod is riveted to body of shift lever. Rivets would need be ground off or drilled out to remove housing for access to rod. Is there someone wrong with the reverse lockout? If its a matter of getting the shift boot on or off, preheat boot with hair drier to soften rubber slightly giving it additional flexability.
