Ed, Tom will give you good advice as Dick did. Tom and I have known each other for over 50 years and he has never steered me wrong. It seems like last year Tom and I wondered which one of us was going to win then. Congratulations Ed! Great looking Corvette. Steve

Welcome aboard Edward. I'll bet that you never dreamed you would win such a beautiful car. A non profit theater in my area has an old restored Corvette Lottery every year, which I buy tickets for, and the drawing is midnight New Years Eve. The next year when I purchase my new tickets I tell them that something must have been wrong with my phone On New Years, because I did not get the winners' call.

Ed, Tom Young (if you mean the gentleman in Ft Wayne) is a personal friend of mine. I don't believe he does much internet stuff, but if you'll PM me your contact info I will gladly pass it along to him. We phone chat every few weeks. I saw your prize at the Auburn auction park but didn't buy a ticket. Maybe I should have! Send to: hwy-song@comcast.net Enjoy the 65!

            Ed,

I enjoyed our talk on the phone last night. I feel that this car is going to a good home. Of course, I would rather have had them drawn my ticket. The fun is just beginning.

Special thanks to Tom Bryant and Tom Young both of them took their time to break in the new kid.

                Ed,
I don't think that the grin is ever going to go away as long as you are sitting in the car. I suggest that you go to a Wal Mart lot and stare at a Prius for 5 minutes.

This car just gets better as you look at it. Colors are correct and the finish is beautiful. All of the major components are correct and original to the car. It is a HV L79, 4 speed, appears to be F40 suspension, p/s, p/b, p/windows, knock offs and side pipes and looks to have had a hard top originally. The interior was upgraded to leather from vinyl, has a dual master cylinder upgrade and radial tires. I'm not sure if the transistor ignition is still there or not but I don't think so. We didn't remove the top shield and I didn't see the box. Having never owned a TI mid year I wasn't sure where the amplifier is located and there was a resistor on the firewall. The two most costly additions/corrections to the car would be a restored hardtop and reinstalling a transistor ignition. Other than that it is minor details. The car runs and drive great according to the nice people at Turnstone. They drove it to every show where they displayed it to sell tickets with no problems.

Enjoy the car Ed. It's a keeper.

                Tom
