    OEM Delco-Bose Music System on my 1992

    HELP........ Anyone have experience with this system on their C4? I am experiencing interference, static, etc intermintenly in AM-FM radio, cassette tape and CD player mode. Volume setting has no effect on the issue. Doesn't appear to be coming from any of the speakers. I'm wondering if it is a problem with the amplifier.

      With this system, the amplifiers are part of the speaker assemblies. The sort of problems you describe are often caused by failing amps in the speaker assemblies. New replacements are available and, I believe, there are some that can repair your existing units.

                      I have used him for my 1989 very good work fast turn around time. I highly recommend him for any Bose repairs.

                          I have sent amps to Bose a couple of times from my 1985 Corvette and was sent new replacements. I believe they will do speakers as well.

                              If you are the original owner you might try Bose Customer Service, I have a 92' that I bought new , when my amps went bad I called Bose they rebuilt all four speakers and amps and only charged me for two, I don't recall the exact amount but it was less than $200.00. It's worth a shot.
