My original a/c control valve has a lubrication fitting, but my new repo a/c control valve has an allenhead plug where my lube fitting was. Do I need to remove that allenhead plug and install my original lube fitting or do I not need to lubricate the new control valve? Here are pics of what I am talking about. Dutch

Leave it alone. That grease fitting is/was only for use during assembly of the valve itself, and most new or rebuilt valves I've used come with a plug and a warning card or stamp that says NOT to use a grease fitting there or it will void the warranty on the valve (damages the seals).- Top

Not sure if I mis-read your post or not - I thought you were talking about the power steering control valve, not an A/C valve - A/C valves don't have grease fittings.- Top
