67' 427 390 hp headlight housing; chrome

The tech judging guide says the headlight housings are painted body color. My car is a convertible and painted irmine white but the housings are chrome; is this possible? Dave

I would assume that you mean the headlight bezel.. I guess anything is possible but I would say that I'm 99.99% sure that it should be painted.
Back in the 70's during my custom days I always chromed the H/L bezel's.

Yes, it's very possible. It's just not possible that it ever came from the factory that way. Unless it started its life as some sort of special "styling car" (EXTREMELY DOUBTFUL), it never, ever left St. Louis with chrome headlight bezels.
