Pete, 95's had them as an option, with another option being the disc.

I believe 96's were the same.

Don't have any info re the 1997 model.

96 was the last year for a cassette player in a GM Corvette.

89 was the last year of the C4 to offer the cassette without the optional CD / cassette combo that was offered from 90-96. Cassette stereo was standard on 90-96 and Bose Gold Cassette or CD/Cassette combo was the option from 90-96. One exception would be ZR1. CD/Cassette was included with those.

You're correct, I forgot about the Maxie specials.

I never stocked any C5's with cassette only. The CD was only a 100.00 option. Occasionally we would see customers order the CD in the front and the optional 12 disc changer for the rear.
