High speed not working on my 67. is it the switch or something else?

Daniel,
When I rebuilt my 63 & 67 wiper assemblies I could not get high speed and thought something was wrong.
Well the work was all done right but the test was not, I forgot the ground.
I mounted the wiper assy on the car and the same thing happened, no ground, so I grounded it and got both speeds.
Might not be your problem but check it out.
Kinda like the half lit headlights you see when the groond is bad.
The high & low will work as 1 speed if missing a ground.

`Dan,

A little more information please. Is the WW motor installed in your Corvette and is the switch installed into the dash? If it is on the bench I can guide you thru some checks to help you along. First the body of the motor has to be grounded or it won't work at all. There is a spade on the motor for ground. Give me a call if you need. 1 501 834-1237.

Everything is installed. it had been working a month ago - I've been adjusting washers to get ready for a PV. I tried it this morning and everything works except the high speed. washers working great when I push the button to turn on washer and wiper together. Parks perfect. just no high speed. I'm not good with electric. I took an alligator clip to the body of the switch and to bare metal on the steering column and that didn't change anything. To your point - if its not grounded nothing would work - right? I appreciate the help

Dan,

OK, this is what I want you to do. Do not turn the wiper on. Just do this with the battery connected and the switch off. Take a jumper wire and attach it to a known ground. There are three wire connector on the bottom of the wiper motor. Touch the jumper to the spade on the wiper motor. The spade closest to the front of the Corvette. Tell us what happens if anything?
