Easy question, don't laugh !

Noticed this a while back but just didn't really think much about it until now. Curiosity getting me. My 65 'vert has all red tail lights. I've noticed some 65's and possibly other year models will have a red lens and a white lens on each side . Why is it all the 65 tail lights aren't the same. Is mine incorrect ? JC

Z01 Comfort and Convenience Group option for 1965 included Day/Night rear view mirror and back up lights. 15,397 1965s included it. In 1966, back up lights were standard equipment. Your car is correct if you have no day/night rear view mirror.
