The inner heater box on 67 coupe is in real bad shape busted fiberglass both ends and busted studs ect. I think I want to replace this is a non jugged car. I see LIC has a complete box assy a bit pricy but an option. Any other suggestions or sources. Thanks Ed

There are other suppliers out there not as expensive as LI. Check Dr.Rebuild and others as well.- Top

Re: 67 inner heater box non ac
I've seen the LIC heater assembly box in person and it is real nice. The hardware and fitment of the various pieces is outstanding. I wouldn't take a chance on the eBay stuff unless you can see lots of photos and close ups. This is a piece you don't want to reinstall after getting it in due to something not fitting. Try also the C1/C2 parts section on Corvette Forum.- Top

Re: 67 inner heater box non ac
Ed,
If it is a non-judged car and you want to drive it in the summer, consider a Vintage Air AC system. With it, you will replace the heater box with something similar but not quite NCRS correct, for not much more.
Did it on my 67/327/300, but saved the heater box for some purist beyond me. Drive to a lot of NCRS events in comfort, and the points deduct in judging is not that bad. Two top flights with it, but with a lot of credit for driving it.Jerry Fuccillo
