I have a numbers matching 70 LT1 coupe I'm frame up restoring. Where's the best place to get parts. Shooting for a top flight car. Thanks Jim

Re: Best place to buy parts
always best to have you original parts repaired, re-plated or repainted.
original is best - it fits and aligns okay.
NOS or OEM next on the list - plenty of venues for that.
If you need to get a part - none of the above are available - then the Repro parts house will work.
I personally have used Paragon, DocRebuild on my 72 and most recently used Volunteer Vette for a good deal of items for my 69.

Re: Best place to buy parts
For the most accurate parts, in the event your original is not usable, you'll need to do some homework. All of the catalogs have their share of the most accurate reproduction parts. It will just take some time and some returns and re-orders to get what you are looking for. Zip, Paragon, Corvette America, Corvette Central, Volunteer, Ecklers, Doc Rebuild and all the others can help. Take your time, talk to the guys at each company and good luck.Kurt Geis
