1963 wooden shifter knob

Hello together,

I have the following question: I saw this wooden shifter knob on Ebay, they say, that this knob was used on 1963 to 1967 Corvettes.

A lot of Corvette owners used them but they were bought at JC Whittney & not factory installed.

My '59 has had a wood knob since 1969. I added it because it was a larger diameter and felt better when shifting. Got it at the local auto parts store.

The guy that pays 400 bucks for this knob has got to win the "sucker of the year" award. Especially in its used condition, I would say that 5 bucks would be too much.
