    What Blue's, 67 450br interior

IMG_0015.jpgIMG_0058.jpgLooking for help on my 67 Marina Blue/ White Interior, code 450br.
My question is the center dash, speaker grill, a different shade of blue than the radio side panels and console?
Mine seem to be, if so what blue, mat finish and where can I purchase paint? (prefer no rattle cans)
Did by a can of 65-67 Br. Blue from Corvette America it was a few shades off the 45 year old paint.
It appears to be the original interior (have had the vett for 20 years)

Thanks for any help and direction in advance, CG

Your 450 interior trim code used several shades/gloss of blue from the factory, [bright blue, medium bright blue, dark bright blue] depending on the part. Below is the '67 refinish chart that was sent to dealers; published in Chevrolet Service News.

As to what blue went where, I'd have to dig it out.

Wayne, the paint chart is a step forward.

WOW, three shades of blue. Now what direction?
Been to Carlisle and Bloomington this year, talked with paint suppliers on site, they can match any paint, but have no record of any paints they have mixed for 67 450 code (ODD) Talked with restoration guys at both show's, have called restoration services advertise in the NCRS mag. Same thing, are today's paint formulas/colors that top secret? Doe we go with what looks good?
      What's the standard?

        Craig,

Check the archives, there's been some other posts regarding Bright Blue color variations:

My local PPG guy can mix Ditzler code 13223 (Med.Bright Blue) and 13228 (Dark Bright Blue) both in
Acrylic Lacquer (PPG Duracryl) Has any one used this paint? Is it as durable as the original? I realize I might have to play with colors a little.

Check with Wayne Womble on this site. He did mine approx. 2 yrs ago. I know he had a hard time getting the colors right , but he should be able to tell you what color for what part.
