the upper piece in your photo is a cover for the power top limit switch. i have no idea what the piece in the lower photo is. mike

Is the bottom part the filler under the door sill plate?

Bob, I have had my '57 apart a number of times and have not seen anything like the second piece, but then I do not have a lot of options. John, the rectangular plate to the rear of the long, narrow sill plate is screwed directly to the glass. The sill plate uses a long piece of black painted oak under the metal. I am looking at it on my phone without my glasses so it could be anything! Steve

Is this part made of metal or fiberglass? Is it upholstered or painted red?
