    63 Rear emblem issue...

I wanted to mount my original rear emblem but I noticed the studs were too thin for the regular speed nuts in the set (or too thick for the speed nuts with the really tiny holes). Is this a common issue. Where can I get the correct speed nuts?

I have a late '63, might be the same. Is anyone shipping the right speednuts for that emblem?

Originals had the little push in retainers. Barrel Clips.

To clarify my last post. 63s had the barrel clips, however, I cant say they all did. I don't know if it was an early thing, or a late thing, or if most had clips or pal nuts, just that some had the clips.

AKA barrel nuts or tubular nuts

Are these retainers similar to what holds the heater cable to lever.

. No, the retainers you are talking about are barrel nuts. Tubular nuts push in the hold and then the emblem studs push into the nots. Everything is retained by friction

If your local auto parts store has an Auveco catalog, they are in it. They removed their online catalog

What's this clip push in from above and the emblem post set inside?

What is the point deduction for not having the Corvette script emblem fastened? Thanks, JD
