I can't seem to locate this switch for a standard column. Would anyone know if it's available and a source?

The switch, GM #7804414, was discontinued a few years ago. However, I believe it's now available in reproduction. I suppose that most of the usual reproduction sources would have it.

For years the key warning switch was available for the standard column but not the T&T. Now the T&T switch has been reproduced and the standard switch is no longer available. I have tried looking for the part on several sites, with no luck. (Locating electrical parts on most supplier sites is no fun.) I know it was available for years so there still might be parts in bins, shelves, etc.

Thanks Joe and Jim. I haven't been able to spot it in a catalog but I'll keep digging and make some calls. The buzzing is getting annoying.

I just got my Paragon Reproductions catalogue today. 14756 1969-76 Ignition key warning switch, all w/o tilt & telescopic. Replacement style.
The bad news is that it says to CALL. 1-800-882-4688

Thanks. I called both them and Doc yesterday and the switch was out of stock and doesn't look as if will be available again. Paragon suggested watching eBay which I will do.

I found a used switch today. It appears good. It does not have the spring with it however.

Glen, I have a good used one for a 69, i think they are the same. 615-255-3939. richard
