WCFB the Saga contines ( WCFB needs help )

Well here goes , received and installed a replacement rear float from Corvette Central. Seemed to be leaking fuel from the bottom of middle section, got totally disgusted and decided it might be time for a Bob Kunz repair. Bob restored the WCFB I purchased from Chicago Corvette Supply approximatly 20 yrs ago. Does anyone have Bob's contact information. I thank everybody for their previous advice , I think I am out of my league on this one ( a man must know his limitations). Again, Bob Kunz's contact info would be greatly appreciated......Jim

Here you go. I believe Bob's son Robbie has taken over the carb resto business. Here's the last known number I had for him (314)845-2566. Dan

Thanks Dan, I called that number last night and talked to Bob. He told me to try setting the bowl levels lower (1/8"). He said the old settings were fine with the old fuels but with the gas we get today the lower bowl level is more favorable. I'll report back to all interested parties...Jim

            Jim -

Very sorry that you had troubles with the float. Did you contact Corvette Central to arrange for a return? 800-345-4122. We would like to inspect this part.

Sorry Scott , I guess I didn't make it clear. The float was just fine, it was the WCFB that was leaking from the bottom ( continued flooding problem ). The problem has been resolved...Jim

I believe the needles had too sharp of an edge to them in comparison to older needles.
