I suspect they, like other cars, have an unsightly black plastic frame that bolts on the front someplace. My C6 and my new GT350 had one in the trunk to install if needed, luckily NM does not require it. And over the years, it has taken much lobbying and efforts to keep it that way from the classic car and sports car owners being very vocal, myself included as our Speaker of the House was a next door neighbor and close friend. The police seem to want to try to put them in place ever few years, we have to stay informed and vigilant against such stupidity.

The front plate mount for the C7 is black plastic that clips into the grill with friction clips. Claimed to be sturdy and easily removed. There was one on the MRB car I spoke about in the 2014 thread, but no pix by me.

seems anything one wants to know about nowadays is on the web. This may be an improvement over the C6 holder. Just have to wait and see how if works when I get mine here in TX ( plate state).
