Tach drive cable 1954 6cyl

Hello,
I have been a member for almost a year now and just renewed for 2 more years. My question is where does the tach cable go on the engine side? My 1963 feeds from the distributor, but nothing on the one in the 54.

the cable goes from the tach in the middle of the dash - thru a hole on the passenger side by the heater - to the distributor....

Careful, there is a truck distributor that also has a tach drive. So look for the correct part number not just one with a tach drive.
