Awesome collection. That is exactly how I got into cars. I used my cars to run the Indy 500 every day after school.

nice to see the cars being displayed. it is refreshing to see a collection being displayed rather than the cars being kept in the blister package and stored in some drawer like the modern day hotwheel collectors.

Part of an appraisal I did last year included 6,500 Winross model trucks. A collector of everything. One of about 30 photos of the collection

John, thanks. I have some friends who are diehard collectors of hotwheel cars and I swear that I think their heads might explode when they see the cars opened. I played with my hotwheel cars the same way when I was a kid. He is too you to be anal retentive like his father.

As soon as I saw the L88, I knew there would be controversy. Steve's 69 Monza Red L88 is beyond question but, the Munchkin L88 has issues, for sure:-))

I have two collectors in my house and they park their cars on the stairs, in the corners of nearly every room they can all lined up. Some are parking lots, other ready to go racing, and others car crashing. Now with their excellent mechanical abilities, there is even a bone yard where they take them apart, wonder where they got that idea.

Steve, you are going to need a lot more garage space as when he graduates from Matchbox cars to wanting real ones you're in trouble....lol....I have a hundred or so, but NOTHING close to that collection...Nice...Had the pleasure of meeting him at the MCACN show, you should be proud of him...ARA...and the addiction doesn't fall far from the tree.....

Ara, please don't remind me. I still have a little over 4 years before he gets his license but I am sure it will get here quick. He likes the early sharks best.
