I just unlocked the L/H door and it unlocked but the key now won't come out. After getting home, I tried taking the door panel off. The very first thing I tried was getting the window crank handle off. I've got the old style clip puller. I tried getting in the handle right after the plastic spacer but couldn't get it loose. Then I tried after the 1/2" plastic spacer...no luck. Is there anyone who knows how to get the door panel off? This just isn't my day!

Re: 70 Door panel removal?
Rex have you tried to turn the key in the lock cylinder on the side position and spray some PB blaster or lock ease into the cylinder? One of the tumblers must be stuck. try working the key in and out once sprayed. and spray again if it does not remove.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.- Top

Re: 70 Door panel removal?
Jim, I tried using two screwdrivers wedged in on sides and was able to pick out the clip. I got the key lock out and found a broken keeper bracket inside the key tumbler. Now I'm going to call Jessersclassic keys for repair instructions. Thanks Rex- Top
