63 pinch welt

Is anyone still selling 63 Corvette pinch welt (which holds up well on the judging field). Should it be interior color (Saddle in my case) or just black (I read different findings on this in previous posts)?

Paint this Saddle also, also to be interior color. I used a Saddle dye from a spray can on this as well as the tool well behind the seats.

I have not found any reproduction that is correct, they are not wide enough or the wrong grain. I just found a nice set of originals at Carlisle for my 63.

Check with Zip Corvette. You'll probably have to paint it- they offer it in Black, Silver and White.I purchased a saddle tan pair a long time ago from a supplier - but haven't seen it in yeas.

I know the current reproductions are crap.
One of the many items that don't fit and don't look even close to correct.
And getting them to spread where they disappear below the carpet is impossible.
Don't loose them. They typically don't require replacement.

When my 63 was first judged at a Marlborough regional I was missing the pinch welts. So I believe it was Rick Alshire (What happened to him)
that gave me a nice pink set for my red interior.
Then someone else gave me an original red set. I still have the pink one around here. John

I have a set of Daytona Blue caps in excellent condition. Thoughts on their value John?
