Who knew when I joined the NCRS in 1996 that my passion for the hobby, the car and restoration of these classic resin rockets would last for as long as it has. Along the way I've accumulated quite a book of knowledge and a monster skill set or so I've been told. Through the years I've posted numerous threads and have recently hit a milestone......."drum roll please"..........1000 + posts. Who knew that when this all started I would post 100....500 or even now well over a 1000 posts. WOOOO....HOOOO! Bring on the party banners and sparklers, I'll headed to the shop, gonna spray some paint, attach some dash pads and I might....that's right, might run the buffer!

Hold on boys and girls, it's gonna be rough ride!

Thanks Mike. When one posts up on the right side opposite of your name and Avatar there's the date you joined the NCRS and # of posts you've made. For example you've posted 2,012 times. Quite a huge # for a 'late comer'....lol.

1000 posts? Well you can see how many I have, but Joe Lucia has over twice as many, and John Hinckley about splits the different between me and Joe.

I think 1000 graduates you from apprentice to junior journeyman.

Mike, The wealth of knowledge here on the discussion board has helped me restore two corvettes in the 5 or 6 years that I have been a member. and have enjoyed spreading the wealth. As you and others here. Its two bad all the members are not regulars here. Good luck on the next thousand, Ed

Yikes! I've only been a member a little over a year and I'm over 350. I need to get a life too! Congratulation Michael! I'm still planning a trip to Ohio to do some research on the dealer originally sold our cars.

Ya know if posts are divided by the amount of words in a post, you win for the most amount of words (explanations+) posted on a forum, and that was meant in the most respectfull manner.

Hey there Mike....would you be referring to Harve Chevrolet?

Yes Ravenna Ohio is about 4 hours from me....I would probably start at the pubic library and go from there and see if I could turn up any leads. I've located the last know address for the dealer the building still has the Chevrolet sign according to Google Earth. I doubt it was the same building in mid-1960's. I might wait till spring but really should go sooner than later, I let you know and get some details on your car.
