    milestone for my 65

Im a happy camper today . For the first time sense 1973 my 65 has a complete original body . I replaced both quarter panels (due to flairs ) and the complete front end (due to deer and flairs ) . All body panels were NOS GM. Now its time for finish sanding and body lift .

Only 40 years have gone by - and my wife thinks I work slow. Must be a great feeling, we 65's are like postmen nothing keeps us from completing our job. Have a few cold ones and enjoy the day. CONGRATS

It is comforting to know that someone else shares my problem (I need to get some tutoring from my 4 year old grandson!)

Way to go Bill! I'm still working on the chassis of my '65 it's about 90% complete, the body will be next.

If you need some help we can connect with a "join.me" and I can show you how to post some pictures or if your able to email images I can post them for you. Provided they are digitals.

                      Carl, Bill
instructions for posting up picture files are found in the FAQs up in the tool bar. Here is an excerpt:
Note: these instructions may seem daunting but they are not. If you practice a few times in the test forum you will master it quickly.

Photos can be posted by clicking on the image in the editor screen..This will bring up a box where you can browse on your computer for the image you wish to upload, or you can upload an image from a URL. URL is a link directly to the photo from a location on the internet.
There are limits to the size of photos allowed to be posted. Full size camera images would soon fill the server’s storage space.
Typical camera photos can be from 5 to 15 megabytes in size. The limit for posting here is 300 kilobytes. If the photo is larger than that the server will resize it to 800px x 600 px. A typical photo I tested from my camera was 12.4 meg in size. 2544 X 1696 pixels. That is 35 inches by 23.5 inches in size. That means that you would have to scroll your screen from top to bottom and from side to side to see the entire picture.
In order to have a little control over the optimization rather than depend on the server software to automatically do it I optimized the photo so I could upload it to the forum. After optimization this picture is 800 X 533 pixels and reduced to 256 colors. After optimization it is only 57 kb in size and works well.
Many of the image editing programs that come with printers and with cameras will optimize a photo for the web. I can not begin to tell anyone how to use the programs that you have with your printer/camera, but look in the help file of your program for Web Ready or Optimized. These terms will lead you to what you need to find out how your program will reduce a photo so that you can post it here.
Another option if you don't have a good photo editor is to use the Freeware Program Irfan View. It has been around a long time and is highly rated by all of the sites that rate programs. I haven't used it in years, but it is supposed to be easy enough for a beginner and good enough for some decent editing of photos. You can download it from many sites. Here is one that I have trusted for years. Download.com
Another newer choice is available I ran across this easy to use and powerful image resize software that might work well for you to create smaller images to upload to the webserver.
It is called VSO Image Resizer and it is Free
