    72 Brake Vacuum Booster

To facilitate plumbing the vacuum lines off the vacuum reservoir (tank) is it OK to turn the vacuum booster upside down to move the hose hook up towards the fender rather than towards the valve cover. Correctness is not an issue. Rey Stenhouse 26007 72 LS-502

    Rey,
If you are talking about rotating the booster 180* on the firewall to get the check valve closer to the reservoir, it will work just fine and not change the performance of the booster at all.

If it is still on the car it might be easier to remove the master cylinder, cover the threads with nuts and remove the front portion of the booster. Spin just the front half the can and put it back on. It is actually a very simple task.
