Car is an LT-1 with original TI
I tried to start the car up today for the first time since a top end rebuild. I had the distributor out for the job. Car doesn't start, and we are getting no signal to the timing light. We tested the timing light on the tractor to make sure it works.
Heres what I know
Amplifier is grounded and plugged in
Coil is getting power (12 volts), and both primary and secondary resistances check out (primary = 0.6, secondary 13,500)
Plug from distributor is plugged in
Good connection from coil to cap
Cap, rotor, and wires were replaced last year (has run with them)
Have lots of cranking power, battery is healthy.
I removed the distributor, but I didn't do anything more to it, it was not apart or rebuilt.
I am not sure where to go next.
