    Zora and Shelby

Did anyone ever hear or see and interview of these two Auto Icons together. Did they ever sit down together and discuss their cars or were they just to arch enemies of each other?

I cannot recall if they spoke when Shelby approached GM for Chevy engines for the Cobra. Shelby said he got a "no" pretty fast from Chevy.

I wonder if they cruised to Nassau for the races.

I bet they had to avoid each other because they were separately supported by two of America's largest sponsors. But now that they are in a different place, they are probably working on a project together.

Two very good observations. The two greatest "car guys" in American history for sure. I have only Corvettes and Shelbys now. The great thing is that both my old '68 Shelby and my new '13 GT350 were done when CS was pretty heavily involved with the cars. I wish I could say that about my Corvettes. I know the '67 was one of his, but probably not the '12, but since it says "ZR1" on it, I guess his spirit is in there anyway.
