TRIM TAG real or repo

I was looking at this trim tag on a car to purchase, and noticed the period after STD. after looking at other tags online, i have noticed them both ways. with and without a period. are both correct.
and how does this tag look otherwise. does anything stand out being incorrect.

Todd, go back into the archives and see if you can find the discussion about a fake trim tag that someone else posted a while back. One of the hints was the location of the letters in Detroit Michigan with respect to the letters above them.

I think it's a fake trim tag because there isn't any marking in the D in body, also buy the trim tag book if you are looking to buy a c2 corvette.

What do the rivits look like from the back? What is going on with the "S" in the body code???

It looks like a rolled tag, changed from AOS to St Louis, but you would need to actually see the tag to be sure.
