Can a .075" main jet for a Carter YH 2066 carburetor be successfully drilled out to .082"? Any caveats?

David, have a buddy who modified his '54 with cam, .030 over, head, and drilled his jets. He could not remember how much over he went on the jets but said he had no problems drilling or the way it ran. Sorry, he could not remember details.

'back in the day when we could modify our cars in the driveway with hand tools. I see you are in OH. I was born in Gallipolis, lived in Wellston and Jackson a long time ago. You near there?

Been to Waterville! Worked in Paulding at Maremont decades ago, used to go to ACI in Toledo and buy parts, and ran a bit at Mid Ohio. Steve

It's a small world. Until we moved here last July, we lived just over the MI/OH line about 2 mi north of ACI! Dave
