67 with 3/6 tailights, new nos panel, with repairs??

Looking to replace taillight panel on a 67 with 6 lights. I have watched a panel on ebay that looks like someone used a 66 panel and cut out the area where the back up light would mount, and crudely glued in place the backup light mount. Does the factory piece look like this as an afterthought or was the back-up mounting molded in during manufacturer?

NOS panels i've seen were crudely cut and bonded for the 67 backup light.mike

This was common on later versions of the rear panel from GM parts. The original was not like that. If you buy that panel, you will find that the socket will have to be removed and the panel reshaped. The process of clamping the socket straightened the panel and it will not have the correct shape.

Here's an original factory panel, backup light area neatly molded and cut; photo isn't my car, but my June '67 looks exactly the same.
