Only one run today, extremely slippery & messy, car started to lift about 190 so they pulled the plug...loaded up...had enough fun for this year and are headed back east.

We would all enjoy knowing about the car, like: engine, Trans, suspension. What was done to hold it to the ground at 200MPH??

These shots were taken on Saturday, just prior to KC's 206 MPH pass.
We ran on Saturday, Sunday and Monday and all 3 days were very nerve wracking.
Course 1 and 2 were similar to running on a ice skating rink and it was a challenge to
continue accelerating when you felt out of control. On Monday about 25 percent of the
fast cars spun out from 100 to 300 MPH. All of these cars had to return to the tech
line to be reinspected for damage. Some could not run again.
The car is running the same drivetrain as the last 2 years. All aluminum 415 CU IN small block
770 HP with a G-Force T56 transmission and a 3.73 ratio rear. This year we added a peterson dry
sump, due to the oil starvation failure last year.
We think that the car has a 215 to 220 MPH speed in it, so we will see next year.
