Trim tag of an originally EU delivered 71 (picture)

During our flight judging we had the pleasure judging a very nice low mile fully documented 71 from one of our members. I thought it was nice to share with you the trim tag of this EU delivered car.

Is there an additional "information tag" somewhere on the car. I. personally, have never seen a tag like this as a "replacement" for th original trim tag.

This tag has all the US Federal boiler plate language deleted. Not saying anything one way or the other but it is logical

            [huh-mol-uh-geyt, hoh-] Show IPA

2.to register (a specific make of automobile in generalproduction) so as to make it eligible for international racingcompetition.

The U.S. Government-required certification statement was not required on cars exported outside of North America.

Modifications to comply with country specific homologation requirements were made by General Motors in each country. On my 1968, General Motors Continental Antwerp affixed a homologation tag to the passenger side inner fender.

Pictures of the trim tag and homologation tag can be viewed at the Corvette C3 registry: http://www.c3registry.org/index.php?...te&car_id=2268

How were the judging rules applied on this trim tag?

Michael this is something we did not address in the manual revisions. Research needs to be done and info added as needed

I recall a 1971 LS6 that was alleged to have been delivered new in Switzerland that had a conventional appearing trim tag. It did have an added tag in the engine compartment. One of these days I am going to have to go through my real photographs for such interesting pictures.
