I think I may have found what I need. Bair's Corvettes says they carry the "Windshield Frame RH Lower Outer Corner" for $198. I have never dealt with them before. Anybody have any experience with them before?

Believe you'll find they have a solid reputation.

That's the exact same price as CSC. CSC manufactures the left and right side inner and outer for 68-72. I expect that Bair's sells the CSC or Caledonia products.

Joe, maybe I'm going crazy. I will call CSC tomorrow. Its just that the only lower corners I seen on their website were either outers and inners for 73-82 or inners only for 68-72. I'm guessing that the difference has something to do with the wiper door mechanism.

It's on page 15 of their catalog. They have the OUTERS for both 68-72 and 73-82. The INNERS are the same for 68-82.

Part Numbers are:

B8618L-----left, outer

B8618R-----right, outer

B8618L-----left, inner

B8619R----right, inner

CSC makes them too; they are competitors.
Yes, there are 2 sources for these parts.

A very limited production part, I would venture to guess there is only one manufacturer.

I expect so, too. Most likely either CSC or Caledonia actually manufacture the part but I think that both sell the wares of the other.

Well, I called CSC Reproductions and they said they were in the process of setting up the tooling to make that piece, B8618R. They said that the drawing they received from GM didn't match what was actually on the cars so they are scanning and taking measurements off of originals. They put me on a list so when they get done testing and start production, they'll call me. Also called Bairs Corvette and they told me that CSC is their supplier so the conversation was pretty much the same. Now I'm on 2 lists. Work on my car has come to a halt ...I hope they get going on them soon. Thanks for all the help and input, guys.
