IMG_3636.jpgIMG_3634.jpgIMG_3637.jpgIMG_3635.jpgI have had headrest seats for 20 years with only one bezel on them. The one I have has a radius on the inside edges where the headrest pass through. I bought a used one from a local corvette shop and I see that the same area of the bezel edges are cut at 90 degrees. Does any one know what is correct? I have posted pic.(not sure if it worked) showing the two styles I have.

66 A82 Headrest Bracket Zsoldos 2.jpg66 A82 Headrest Bracket Zsoldos.JPG
Hi Michael,
A82 headrests were a fairly rare option for 66. Here are pics of original brackets off my survivor car. From a design engineering perspective is would make sense for a rolled lip in the opening for the headrest metal post. The 2nd picture design doesn't look like it would hold up.
Thanks Jeff- Top

Thanks Jeff, I see the repo bezels sold today do not have the rolled lip. I wonder if the straight cut design was for the C3 models. I'll keep looking to find a replacement.- Top
