Trans assy date relative to car build date

I'm looking to install a correctly dated BW T-10 in my 59, with a car build date of March 26 1959. Would a Trans with an assy date of C169-2 (March 16th 1959) be too close? What would be considered a "normal" date range for the trans/car build dates?

That date works fine. 1-4 weeks is "typical", although you'll get full credit up to six months. Note that transmission and axle "numbers" aren't checked in Flight Judging - only in Star/Bowtie judging, which is a different world.
