    Gary,

I only can see part pf the date code ("D6") in your photo. I assume that it is actually "D69" (April 1969).

I believe that part substitutions were made to keep the assembly line moving.

Do you have the original fan-clutch?

If so, is it the bar-strip type (Schwitzer) or the coil type (Eaton or Delco) and is the diameter 6" or 7 1/4"?

          Re: 70 seven blade fan

Thanks Dave...I "assumed" the "66" was a "99" as the #'s were facing the same direction as the other hub markings. I also discovered upon re-installing the fan the information can't be read with the fan attached to the clutch. Duh?? I'll check the clutch information and advise. Interesting that Jim and Dino also have 350/300's w/ air that have what appears to be factory installed 5 blade fans. Must be others out there. Would be helpful to know the date stamped on the clutch bolt mounting flange...Clark

              Bob,

Fan # 3955182 was still available in November 2001 for $115.33 (list price). I have no idea when the fan was discontinued.

Maybe your "00047" fan is dated July 2004.
