    54 intake manifold sealant

    Does anyone use sealant at the head and intake connection? I saw a car with what looked like high temp sealant at that connection. With out it, could it be an issue for vacuum? Just wondering. Thaks again, you guys are great! Guy

      the intake to head gasket negates the need for sealant. mike

              the rings that also install in the head help line up the intake to the head
              no sealant needed but use a gasket
