    Midyear Wiper Motors

I have an aftermarket replacement and have been searching the forum and the web to understand what I need to do to replace mine. In the process I ran in this link which I think is excellent and just wanted to share it.

I'm guessing this is good stuff. In one of the posts I saw several people suggested these people to rebuild a unit so I'm guessing they know their stuff. This is just passing on information.

      Larry,

I just read an article in the Restorer, I think it was. It was the same situation where someone was replacing an aftermarket unit in their 67 with an original.

It was a Restorer sitting in my garage so I do not know if it was a newer publication or an older one that has been on the shelf for a while.

Maybe one of the other member can be more specific about which Restorer it was in.

In the mean time I will see if I can locate it again.

It was a step by step, bolt by bolt article.

      Get back with you soon,

      Monte

        Larry,
I located it. It was actually titled "63 Wiper Motor Repair".

It is in the most recent Restorer I have which is Winter of 2013.

If I understood your question right, you are looking for the actual steps to do the job, that article will go a long way in resolving any questions you might have.

        Best of luck,

Monte, thanks, I'll find the article. I need to buy a unit since mine is not correct.
