Re: c1 steering column wiring cover screw
Jerry: I can't be much help with this. The judging guide for '56-'57 is silent about this little screw. My '57 has a slotted round head machine screw about 1/2 inch long. It is difficult to get tight and keep the wiring cover from sliding when using the turn signal as there is limited clearance to get a screwdriver on it. My '57 has many non-standard fasteners so I can't say for certain what is correct.- Top

Re: c1 steering column wiring cover screw
My '59 has this type. The CC repro appears to be the same as my original. I got one for a '60 and it fit fine. Length under the head IIRC may be around 3/8" so it doesn't hit the steering shaft. I think it's #10x24. Used on all 53-62 according to CC.
