Jeff,

There's a member on this board, Tom Christman (1789) who knows almost everything there is to know about 63 A/C cars. He has kept detailed records by VIN on almost all of those known to exist over the years and may be able to help you. You may want to PM him with your questions and other data to see what he may know about your car.

Jeff you may want to also look for dates on some of the A/C parts. compressor, receiver dryer, POA valve. the interior heater box also may be Dated.

As Gary mentioned the 63 Corvette AC brackets and support are not the same on the 63 Chevrolet. I have both a 63 Corvette AIM and a 63 Chevrolet AIM and based on the drawings and part numbers it is clear that the brackets and support are different.

Drawings/illustrations in AIMs can NOT be used as "blueprints"; they may be taken from anywhere; their usage in AIMs depends solely on whether it accurately depicts the location of the pieces in the order of how they were installed.

Engine and trans out today. So far all numbers matching, carb, heads, block, trans, water shut off, brackwets, pulleys, This car has a half vent on ther right side kick panel. I will provide detailed pictures tomorrow.
