GM part 6415325 - fuel pump related

Can anyone tell me what this part number is. It could be the box a fuel pump came in which means you probably can't or it may be something more important. It is related to a 40083 pump I'm buying from a box dated 9/72 and I'd like to know what the number means, if anthing.

Sorry, forget the question. There is an NOS 40083 on ebay right now with a pic of the box. This number is shown as well as 40083. Also, StoudtAutoSales tells me they sell the current replacement under that number. However, the pump in the box I'm buying is original configuration with the exception of 1972 differences, primarily the MadeInUSA and the alpha code after 40083, but it has all the other details, even the S screws.

GM #6415325 is the AC SERVICE part number for the GM #6440083 (AC type 40083) fuel pump. AC SERVICE part numbers for fuel pumps are rarely, if ever, the same as the original GM part number (i.e. as used in PRODUCTION). However, the pump in the box is the same as one used in PRODUCTION (assuming the SERVICE pump was manufactured at the same time as PRODUCTION pump). Over time, while the AC SERVICE part number and AC type number remain the same, the pump "evolves" in various ways.
