    Show Board Design Assistance

    Hi Guys!

I'm working on making a show board for Baby. The file linked below is my first attempt with my limited PowerPoint skills. If anyone has any suggestions for improvement, I would appreciate the feedback. I'm sure some of you have better PPT and picture editing skills than I. Just click the link and then select "File" and "Download" to open the PPT slide.

    Thanks!

I tried, but you have to have a Google account to access it. I don't.

Looking at it online: The colors look really strange on the car-part of it looks like silver paint. The power point outlines are too small to hold all the words. Maybe it looks different printed. The layout is good, I like it.

Looks like there were issues uploading to Google. I have reduced the file size and was able to attach the file. Let me know if there are any suggestions.

        Thanks!

Thanks, much better. I just had one done for my '67, shown here. These are a matter of taste and preference. I planned to have mine with my car, so cut the number of pictures down to one, since the car is right in front of people. I added scanned items that would be of interest to people, like some ads from the day, contents of the glove box (OM, POP), window sticker, tank sticker, TF Award, and some verbiage about where it was delivered, how many made, dates etc. Also some Corvette logos of course. It's up to you what you want to put on it, I would just suggest you think about what you would like to know as you walk up to an interesting, rare car at a show. Good Luck!

I can understand a board that gives info. about the car but could never figure out why the pictures of the finished car? It's sitting right there!

I agree with Michael. Remember who your audience is, and that they might not be very knowledgeable about Corvettes. Even if they are familiar, a little bit of nostalgia might be interesting to them.

With respect to the verbiage, lose the "she", unless you don't want to be taken seriously by more knowledgeable people. Also, the line with "Frame Off Restoration" is redundant. I would modify the wording in the paragraph to include the "frame off" part.

Yes, that is much improved, better presented info and pictures of things people can't see readily with the car.
