Hi Guys
A few months ago there was a discussion on the new RPM metal treatment so I bought a lb of it, $40 to test on the next build. I have a virgin set of '66 arms that would be a nice candidate so I washed the parts, blasted them, heated to 120*F, and applied the RPM. It melts right into the iron pores and when cool leaves a wax like finish. I think the parts are a little darker gray when compared to the blasted iron. Overall so far I like the product. Granted I didn't expose them to harsh conditions but the tests and testimonials on it did all that already. Take a look, maybe it's something you will like to use.
PS- I have nothing to do with the company nor do I sell this product.
Here is what I started with

Blasted

Heating

RPM

Treated and finished machined
