69 Vacuum and Washer Hose Routing and Testing

I've just finished installing a new Dr. Rebuild vacuum hose kit for headlamps and windshield wiper door. While the provided diagram was excellent for reconnecting, it's not very useful for physical routing. The AIM is somewhat helpful, but I believe it's more "theoretical" than actual. Does anyone have any detail, color photos of the firewall area of a late 69, L36, PS and A/C? I found some photos of a 69 350 from a few years back, but was hoping someone might provide some more specific to my car and maybe more clear.

Testing - the car isn't yet where I can run it (radiator out). I have a motor driven vacuum pump I could connect to the hose removed from the manifold. If I set the pump not to exceed 15 to 20 in Hg, might this allow me to confirm proper operations? Other suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Mike
