    Convention suggestions

My schedule has limited me to a very small window of time to attend the convention. Since this would be my first time attending a national convention, does anyone have suggestions as to what day would be better then another?

I was hoping to meet up with our chapter road tour on Saturday and drive home late Monday, but this may not work out. Now the plan is to drive down from the Philadelphia area on Sunday, spending the night and drive home Monday evening. Would this provide enough time to wander around and take in the convention area?

I've never been to an NCRS convention so I don't know what to expect.

    Thanks for the input.

Tom...Monday will be setup day and operations check day. The welcome reception scheduled for Sunday evening is for registered members only. So if you haven't registered, you won't be permitted to attend. Monday will start early and the operations checks, and usually any PV's will be done on Monday, I believe all the cars will placed in the convention center during the day on Monday, as they all must be in place by Monday evening.

Tom, I am in the same situation as you as I only have a limited time I can attend. I am choosing to attend Wednesday/Thursday because that is when Flight Judging will take place.

You can check out the convention schedule (https://www.ncrs.org/convention/schedule.pdf) and maybe narrow down what you would like to see.

        Tom,
If your schedule is flexible: --Tuesday is Bowtie/Crossed Flags judging. Those of us who like original cars enjoy that day.

Will the cars for judging and display be viewable on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday?

              Thanks for the suggestions guys.

It is funny how things change. I have not been very busy all spring and thought we would join the road tour and spend several days, but July is shaping up to be very busy and getting time away is turning into a problem. I think I'll try for a mid week excursion, maybe come down Tuesday evening and leave Wed evening............
