Can anyone here tell me what this document is?
Greetings all: Please see the attached photos of this document that was included in the package of original documents that came with the 1964 Coupe that was willed to my wife and me. The name on the plastic card is the name of the woman who willed us the car. The VIN on the card matches the VIN on the car we received. I have not seen one of these before, and do not know what it is called. All help is appreciated.

That's the Corvette owner's welcome package, including the Corvette Owner Card and a jacket patch; every buyer of a new Corvette got that package in the mail a week or two after taking delivery of the car. In some years it also included a 10K gold round lapel pin. -

Hi, John: Thanks again for your reply. Inside the little blue plastic box attached to the doc in the pic, there is a gold colored lapel pin with crossed flags and "Chevrolet Corvette Owner" script.Comment

Included with that pack there would have been a letter with Chevrolet letter head starting off " Congratulations on your purchase of a new Corvette".Comment

In later years there was a coin sent at well, if I am not mistaken. I have ended up with a few of them. The Corvette coin may have been sent out with the purchase of other specific vehicles as well.
Does anybody know any more about the coins?

Hi, Jim: Thanks for your reply. There are 3 letters included in the pack. One from the dealer, one from S.E. "Bunkie" Knudson, and one from L.H. Averill, all congrats for your purchase, etc.Comment
