C2 1963 Trim Tag
This is the Trim Tag on my 1963 convertible built the first week in March. Does anyone else have the space between the 6 and the 3 for Style? I have not seen any others with this gap.

I don't think I've ever seen that before either.
Cool tag with the 4444 Body number. That would seem to line up well with an early March build,
or about vin #9,840 or so?

Ron,I just looked at my 3rd week Mar. and it has the 6 next to the 3, not spaced. I would bet human Era.New England chapter member, 63 Convert. 327/340- Chapter/Regional/national Top Flight, 72 coupe- chapter and regional Top Flight.Comment

The error shown on your tag is no surprise. There have been many errors reported over the years.
The machine that stamps the info on the tag has a keyboard, similar to an old typewriter. Each character and space has to be entered before the info is transferred to the tag. Errors would be just as easy to make on that keyboard as on your computer keyboard.
Some trim tag errors are caught immediately while others are not caught at all.
